Construction Industry Publications (CIP) has published the latest update to its Construction Health and Safety Manual and released a number of revised publications following the introduction of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
The important update to the Construction Health and Safety Manual brings it in line with CDM 2015, including a revised section dedicated to providing guidance on the new regulations which has several illustrative case studies.
The revised CIP Accident Book includes a new set of guidance notes on CDM 2015. It allows duty holders to record the information required for the reporting of injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences as well as ‘near misses’ which can be useful for preventing accidents in the future.
CIP also offers a range of guides specifically on CDM 2015. Everyone involved in construction work will need to understand the impact that the revised regulations will have on existing and future projects as well as their role in those projects.
