Site Tracking

Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction.

_cfduid – This is a Strictly Necessary cookie as it controls security features from Cloudflare, it cannot be disabled and doesn’t contain any user identification information.

Cloudflare security cookie – The cfduid cookie is used to identify individual clients behind a shared IP address and apply security settings on a per-client basis.

For example, if the visitor is in a coffee shop where there are a bunch of infected machines, but the specific visitor’s machine is trusted (e.g. because they’ve completed a challenge within your Challenge Passage period), the cookie allows us to identify that client and not challenge them again.

Listings

We collect information about you during the add listing process on our site.

This information may include but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, address, locations details including GPS coordinates and any other information that might be requested from you for the purpose of adding your business listing.

  • Display this information in a public facing manner (such as a web page or API request) and allow website users to search and view submitted listing information.

  • Provide a way for users to contact your listing via the provided contact information.
  • Notify you of user interactions such as but not limited to review and contact notifications.

  • Set up and administer your account, provide technical and/or customer support, and to verify your identity. We do this on the basis of our legitimate business interests.

Floors Magazine

If you choose to subscribe to Floors Magazine, the email address that you submit to us will be forwarded to MailChimp whoprovide us with email marketing services.

We consider MailChimp to be a third party data processor. The email address that you submit will not be stored within this website’s own database or in any of our internal computer systems.

Your email address will remain within MailChimp’s database for as long as we continue to use MailChimp’s services for email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list.

This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
