Description of the contract
The works comprise the refurbishment of the Plate 234 ITG Offices which occupy Rooms 234/10, 234/12 and 234/18, and corridors 234/101 and 234/102. The works require: – the provision of protective screening to protect retained finishes; – stripping out of existing carpet and suspended ceiling finishes; – demolition of non-loadbearing block work partitions; – infilling redundant openings and forming new openings in block work; – plastering fair faced block work surfaces; – installation of a new concealed grid suspended ceiling; – preparing sub-floor and laying new carpet flooring; – preparing and decorating new and previously decorated wall and joinery surfaces; – procurement and installation of new furniture; – procurement and installation of new kitchenette and appliances; – extension and connection of services to the above; – new lighting, power and data installations; – modification to the BMS controls; – cleaning and removal of protection. The above scope is to include all building works and mechanical & electrical works.
