Striking the perfect balance at AeroTurbine

INVISTA’s Antron® carpet fibre featuring in Balance modular carpet from Quadrant Carpets, has equipped the offices of AeroTurbine with a carpet that is practical, hardwearing and that will keep looking good for longer.

Specified by Nathan Watson, project designer, Morgan Lovell, Balance has been installed across 500m2 of Farnborough office space at the leading supplier of certified aircraft engines and parts. With assured performance thanks to Antron® LumenaTM carpet fibre, Balance provided the ideal solution for the interior scheme as Nathan Watson explains:

“Quadrant Carpets’ Balance could deliver the practical and hardwearing qualities that were important for the end user, while the textured design and colour palette suited my scheme well. The knowledge that Balance contained Antron® carpet fibre gave me the assurance of quality I needed to include it within my interior scheme.”

Nathan Watson used the Balance carpet in Hydra and Indus colourways to segment spaces along linear and curved lines, intersecting desking and meeting spaces throughout the first floor offices, meeting rooms and open plan area.

Using the tighter and stronger structure of polyamide 6.6 to resist wear and crushing, Antron® LumenaTM carpet fibre has a cross-section and hollow fibre technology that enables soil release and soil hiding capability. Combined with solution dyed colour for light-fastness and resistance to harsh cleaning chemicals, Antron® LumenaTM makes Balance easier to clean and will keep its textured design looking good for longer.

Balance is BRE A rated and uses Versatek, a tufting technology that promotes sustainability through carpets that last and keep their looks for longer. With a high-density 12th gauge construction, Balance achieves a tighter and more compact wear surface, providing better resistance to crushing, matting and wear.
