Innovative manufacturing techniques adopted by Granorte have transformed cork into a trend-inspiring interior surface, rivalling other products not only in terms of design flexibility and performance, but also durability and sustainability.
Due to the creative nature of cork, Granorte products can satisfy both traditional and contemporary tastes. Using nature-inspired designs combined with state-of-the-art print technology, Granorte has created a design world of almost limitless boundaries.
Visitors to stand E220 at 100% Design will experience the beautifully quiet and comfortable underfoot nature of cork for themselves, and will even be treated to an interactive cork experience by walking through a self-contained cork tunnel, enabling full 3D interaction with this natural material up close.
The impressive environmental properties of cork have made it a firm favourite with ecologically conscious designers and specifiers. Now only are Granorte floors created from waste cork supplied by wine stopper manufacturers, cork in itself is derived from the bark of a tree, which regrows over time. This means that cork can be harvested from the same tree for up to 200 years, and no trees are harmed in the process.
Granorte’s innovative cork wall panels will also be on display and with individual patterns ranging from brightly coloured pixelated squares to wavy vertical lines and soft florals, this is an exciting collection that is sure to inspire.
GRANORTE will also be showcasing a comprehensive portfolio of other styles, including Corium, a selection of 100% genuine natural leather floors, and its LVT and engineered flooring.
