Description of the contract
Works associated with 1B34-1B37 OPEN PLAN OFFICE REFURBISHMENT at PHE Colindale Refurbishment over a two – three year period to be awarded as a framework agreement for a 2 year period with an option to extend for a further year. The award will be based on tender returns for 1B34 – 1B37 Open Plan Office refurbishment. A NEC3 ECC contract will be awarded for ‘Office Refurbishment 1B34 – 1B37′ with further subsequent works awarded based on initial tendered rates, an agreed discount and satisfactory performance. Currently there are potentially 7 office refurbishment projects to be completed over the next 2 years. The value of works in any one financial year will be up to £250,000. The initial works comprise of the refurbishment of 1B34-1B37 to form an open plan office area, stripped areas to be provided with new flooring, ceiling, lighting, dado trunking, data points, electrics, plumbing etc along with renewal of all fittings and finishes including redecoration throughout. SITE VISITS Site visits are a mandatory part of the tender process and will be available up to 23rd July 2014.
