Visitors to this year’s Sleep event were witness to one of the biggest names in flooring as Pergo looks to strengthen its position as a leading supplier of laminate, engineered wood and LVT flooring for the hospitality sector.
Pergo showcased its concept centred on 84 decors available in three different laminate floor specifications. This allows hospitality environments to choose the most appropriate performance features for the space in question, without making any aesthetic compromise. Available in Living Expression (Class 32), Original Excellence (Class 33) and Public Extreme (Class 34) there is a Pergo laminate floor for every environment. Whether busy reception and corridor, restaurant or bedroom, a laminate floor from Pergo delivers performance and style.
“Hospitality environments have really quite varied requirements all within the same space and so Pergo’s approach makes a lot of sense,” comments James Erskine, sales, Pergo Professional. “The response we had to our laminate concept at Sleep proves that it offers hotels, bars and leisure facilities a really flexible option that still delivers the high-quality and flowing look they desire.”
With seven layers of high quality lacquer, or two layers of oil, Pergo’s commercial grade wood floors are also ideal for use in hospitality environments wanting timber flooring with the reliability of durable coatings that are suitable for use in busy locations. With a huge variety of species, structures, beveling and finishing options, the collection proved popular with designers attending the show.
Pergo’s high-performance vinyl collection was also on show. Available in wood, leather or slate looks the floors feature an additional layer of PUR to provide extra wear resistance, impact resistance and easy maintenance. Following a similar strategy to its laminate flooring, all Pergo vinyl floors are available in two quality levels – Class 32 and Class 34 – and are ideal for use in busy hospitality locations.
