Luxury homes, apartments and studios across London have been refurbished with Pergo® laminate flooring helping to achieve a first class finish within tight timescales.
Working from a palette of grey, reflecting current domestic interior trends, developer V-Exsis turned to different styles and finishes from the Pergo stable, selecting PerfectFold 3.0 laminate flooring because of the easy installation and design diversity. A total of 67 different homes have been installed with Pergo laminate in eight designs, Beach House Oak, Sand Oak, Chalked Blonde Oak, Chalked Taupe Oak, Reclaimed Grey Oak, Reclaimed Brown Oak, Maritime Raven Oak and Mountain Grey Oak.
The diversity of decors selected for various residential units is testament to the design flexibility of laminate floors from Pergo, with V-Exsis able to choose from a wide range of oak styles all offering different looks on the same core theme.
“With grey being the colour theme throughout our buildings, we wanted our floor choices to uphold the scheme and so we looked at different styles all within the grey spectrum. We chose different styles and finishes depending on the needs of the space, but with tight deadlines we need fast installation, so laminate is the ideal option as it offers both. We opted for Pergo laminate flooring because of our previous experience with the brand, which has taught us it has the quality that our clients come to expect, “ explains Egle Gineviciute, interior designer.
Pergo laminate floors have been specified by V-Exsis in 10 self-contained units at Camden’s 73 Oakley Square and six-bedrooms of a home on Harbden Road, Swiss Cottage. Two large projects still in progress include a mixture of 44 one-bedroom and studio flats in Notting Hill’s 21-25 Linden Gardens and a 48-apartment development at Gloucester Place, close to the Baker Street London Underground.
The patented TitanX surface means that Pergo laminate floors are highly durable, offering excellent wear and impact resistance. Easy to maintain and up to 30% faster to install thanks to the PerfectFold 3.0 joint, Pergo laminate flooring is available in three quality levels, four-formats and 84 decors. Including the extraordinary Total Design concept, as well as wood, stone, ceramic and concrete looks, the collection will help designers to create inspirational interiors with the confidence that practical needs can be met too.
