Matting Made for a Royal Entrance

COBA Flooring’s Premier Entrance Tiles have been installed at Royal Victoria Place Shopping Centre in Kent.  The entrance matting, selected and installed by UK Facilities Solutions, is an interlocking PVC/carpet tile system that is a popular and practical choice for many shopping centres and retail environments.

The busy Royal Victoria Place Shopping Centre in Tunbridge Wells, which attracts over 10 million visitors per annum, has installed Premier Track Entrance Tiles in two of its main entrances.  A combination of Premier Grip and Premier Track Tiles has been used in the entrance areas, but a key aspect of the design has been the integration of a custom-printed solution dyed Logo Mat.  Bespoke logos can be integrated with any of COBA Flooring’s entrance matting products using a special rubber bonding process.

By choosing a combination of Premier Tile products, the entrances have been designed to get maximum benefit from scraping and wiping footwear, while looking very stylish and promoting the Royal Victoria Place brand through the Logo Mat.  On entering, shoppers initially walk over Premier Grip Tiles (100% recycled PVC) which perform a dirt scraping function, and then move onto the Premier Track Tiles (a combination of PVC and nylon carpet) to wipe any remaining moisture and residue from footwear.

“The new entrance matting has really refreshed both entrances to Royal Victoria Place, and we are very pleased with its appearance and performance.  The logo effectively promotes our brand, and creates a positive first impression,” says Nick Connell, Operations Manager, Royal Victoria Place Shopping Centre.

The Premier range is manufactured in the UK by COBA Flooring headquartered in Leicestershire.  For further information about Premier Entrance Tiles, please call 0116 240 1161 or email: [email protected]. www.cobaflooring.com
