As part of a packed programme at the hugely popular The Flooring Show Demo Zones, training body FITA, will demonstrate the innovative Invisiweld installation method for commercial vinyl flooring, pioneered by Itec Contract Floors.
Using cold welding technology that relies on chemical fusion, rather than the heat of traditional hot welding, Invisiweld produces a far tighter and less visible seam that helps Itec’s ranges of safety, acoustic and decorative flooring retain their aesthetic integrity. FITA’s Steve Ramsden, will demonstrate that this method is not only better looking and produces a stronger end result, but that it can be faster to work with too.
FITA will also highlight the important differences in working with heterogeneous vinyl constructions as used by Itec Contract Floors and more traditional homogeneous constructions employed by other manufacturers.
“Heterogeneous vinyl flooring is a growing segment in the commercial flooring market, where its ability to offer diverse locations high performance flooring that also delivers stylistically is making its present felt,” says David Bigland, managing director UK, Itec Contract Floors. “It’s great news that FITA will use The Flooring Show Demo Zones to demonstrate the subtle but important differences in the two constructions and we are delighted to be involved in this popular part of The Flooring Show programme.”
Being involved in the seminar programme, means that Itec Contract Floors will join IVC Group sister brands Avenue, Leoline and Moduleo. Itec Contract Floors will show the new Commercial Flooring Collection, Concept Decor range and point of sale on stand B24.
