Important Dates for the Month Ahead
With just a few weeks to go before chancellor Philip Hammond delivers his first Autumn Statement, here are the important tax dates and deadlines from 1st November 2016.
– 1st November 2016 –
Corporation Tax
Deadline for corporation tax due for the year ended 31st January 2016.
– 7th November 2016 –
VAT return
Due date for September VAT returns unless exempted.
– 19th November 2016 –
Postal monthly PAYE/class 1 NICs/student loan payment
Payment by cheque of PAYE, class 1 NICs, student loan deductions and deductions from payments to subcontractors for the month up to the 5th of this month.
CIS return
Construction industry scheme: monthly return due for period to 5th of month.
– 21st November 2016 –
EC sales list
Deadline for monthly or quarterly return filing.
Intrastat
Due date for payment of supplementary declarations for October 2016.
– 22nd November 2016 –
Electronic monthly PAYE/class 1 NICs/student loan payment
Electronic payment of PAYE, class 1 NICs, student loan deductions and deductions from payments to subcontractors for the month up to the 5th of this month.
– 23rd November 2016 –
Autumn Statement 2016
The chancellor will deliver Autumn Statement 2016 to Parliament.
– 30 November 2016 –
Corporation tax return
Filing deadline for corporation tax return self-assessment form (CT600) for period ended 30th November 2015 to be submitted to HMRC.
Company accounts filing deadline
Deadline for filing your company tax return is 12 months after your accounting period for corporation tax ends.
