Floorinsite Visits Flanders Flooring Days 2026

The Floorinsite team recently returned from a visit to the internationally recognised Flanders Flooring Days 2026, and once again, the event proved exactly why it has become one of the most important dates in the European flooring calendar.

Representing Floorinsite, the UK flooring media platform covering breaking news, product launches, business updates and industry insight, the visit provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with many of the leading manufacturers, suppliers and innovators helping shape the future of the flooring sector. 

Held across Kortrijk Xpo and a network of impressive showroom locations throughout Belgium, Flanders Flooring Days continues to grow year on year, bringing together more than 100 international flooring brands and visitors from over 75 countries. The event combines exhibitions, showroom experiences, networking and product innovation in a way that genuinely feels different to a traditional trade show. 

For the Floorinsite team, one of the highlights was the opportunity to spend valuable time catching up with many long-standing industry contacts, including Alternative FlooringUnilin and the globally recognised Quick-Step brand, alongside COREtecFN Neuhofer and many other leading names from across the flooring industry.

There was a clear feeling throughout the event that the flooring sector remains incredibly forward-thinking despite ongoing market challenges. Sustainability, circular manufacturing, innovation in LVT and laminate, smarter showroom experiences and improved customer engagement were all major talking points throughout the week. 

COREtec once again delivered a standout showroom experience, offering visitors an early look at upcoming collections and demonstrating how technology, display systems and merchandising continue to evolve within the luxury vinyl flooring market. 

Alongside the business side of the event, one of the biggest positives was the atmosphere itself. Flanders Flooring Days has quickly established itself as an event built around relationships, collaboration and genuine conversations. Unlike many larger exhibitions, the showroom format allows visitors to spend quality time with brands and manufacturers, creating a much more relaxed and productive environment.
