Flooring Assessments are set to launch their newest apprenticeship this July. Apprentices attending the Flooring Assessments Training Centre in Doncaster will receive training on installing different types of floor coverings and will receive an NVQ Level 2 on successful completion of the Apprenticeship.
Flooring Assessments Director Dave Brown says “We are excited to start the Apprenticeship at Flooring Assessments and we’re looking forward to helping the Apprentices discover their potential. We believe we can help employers achieve a more successful business and make sure the next generation of floor layers get the best training possible. We have already received great support from employers and manufactures”.
The apprenticeship will run over 18 months and is fully funded for apprentices aged in between 16-18 with a grant of £1500.00 available for some employers. Apprentices will receive training on preparing sub-floors, installing carpets, sheet vinyl and luxury vinyl tiles leading to a NVQ Level 2.
Flooring Assessments also deliver NVQ Level 2 in floor coverings through on-site assessment training for experienced workers.
