Magnified Cosmos explores our relationship with flora, transcending purely decorative needs and reminding us of how the healing power nature can enhance our environment. Offered up as an age-old antidote to the modern world, the trend is a nourishing, bright and fresh colour mixture, suggestive of movement, optimistic growth and new beginnings.
With the rushing lift that only the first spring blooms bring after a long cold winter, the Magnified Cosmos spectrum is a visual tonic full of vibrancy and therapeutic energy.
Pure and popping shades such as Lime, Lemonade and Magenta leap out, balanced with earthy and aquatic tones such as Splash and Pine that exert a calming effect.
Focusing on the revitalising properties of plants, Magnified Cosmos delves further and takes inspiration from cells on a microscopic level. The trend sees acidic hues combined with rustic tones, and predicts the rise of new effects for textiles, such as raw and lush surface textures, and wet looks that mimic juicy dewdrops.
