Moving on up with Sika

Sika has recently appointed Mike Waller as the new Area Sales Manager for North London, Essex, Suffolk, Norwich, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire and Karen Campbell as Area Sales Manager for Scotland, Cumbria and Northumberland.

Mike has previously held roles in customer services and technical advice for Sika and therefore brings a wealth of technical product knowledge to his new role.

Mike Waller commented: “Throughout my time at Sika. I have spoken to people from across the sector, from constructional engineers to merchants. Through this experience, I know I can bring a lot of confidence to the team and achieve great results. Going forward, I am looking forward to contributing to further growth of the Sika brand across my area.

Similarly, Karen Campbell brings eight years industry experience to her new sales role. Previously working on the merchant-side, Karen has a specialised knowledge of construction chemicals, which will be of particular use to her new role.

Karen said: “I know the Sika brand well, having dealt with its products in my previous role and I know I’ll be able to put my years of industry knowledge to good use in this sales role. I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into this, helping to generate greater levels of interest and increase sales.”

Both Mike and Karen will be working with both national and independent merchants to control their pricing and stock control, whilst also advising on the best product mix, based on industry knowledge and buying trends.
