The WoolSafe Organisation has always had strong links with the National Carpet Cleaners Association, but now it has formalised this relationship and is embarking on an exciting new journey by joining the NCCA’s corporate membership programme.
“WoolSafe and the NCCA are two of the leading carpet cleaning organisations, and historically there has always been a lot of scope for us to work together,” explains Dr Ágnes Zsednai, managing director, the WoolSafe Organisation.
“Through closer ties, we will be able to raise awareness of each other’s work and continue to spread the message of the importance of correct carpet maintenance.”
“The WoolSafe Organisation and the NCCA share similar goals, with both organisations promoting professional training and proper carpet care. Through our corporate membership we reinforce our shared commitment to improving standards. We are not in competition, but work in partnership, complimenting each other’s work,” continues Dr Zsednai.
“The WoolSafe Organisation recognises the NCCA’s training programme as one of the ways to satisfy the basic training criterion prior to taking our Fibre Care Specialist course and becoming a member of the WoolSafe Service Provider network. We are committed to promoting our relationship with the NCCA, and have done so by listing the association on our website as an industry partner; supporting the NCCA’s initiatives, such as contributing to the development of PAS 86, to improve standards; and regularly attending its trade shows, such as the NCCA Road Shows and Carpet Cleaners Carnival.”
NCCA members, who are not yet qualified to become WoolSafe Service Providers, can still access the wide range of resources and training WoolSafe offers through the WoolSafe Academy www.woolsafeacademy.org .
