Mapei’s Mapeproof One Coat – available in 7kg units consisting of Part A 4.2 kg and Part B 2.8 kg, is a two-component, black, one-coat epoxy surface applied damp proof membrane for controlling residual and construction moisture in cementitious substrates.
Mapeproof One Coat is a two-components product, the components are mixed together to provide a smooth uniform colour paste prior to applying to the prepared subfloor. It is ideal for use on cementitious subfloors with relative humidity moisture levels between 75.1% RH (BS8203) and 97% RH, prior to the installation of resilient floor coverings.
The product can be applied by trowel or roller over prepared power floated concrete subfloors and sand: cement screeds that incorporate an effective structural dpm, to control residual or construction moisture. It is also suitable over under floor heating systems, with the exception of wood flooring.
