Välinge upgrading it’s production line for Nadura

Välinge is together with Dieffenbacher upgrading it’s production line for Nadura and other powder applications.

The installation work started early December and is running according to schedule.

The plan is to run the first boards through the line by the end of February.

The upgrade consists of adding in-line powder backing production as well as expanding the line in order to fit additional equipment – such as digital printing and new types of scattering and stabilization systems.

The feeding of powder will also be upgraded into a fully automatic vacuum feeding and recycling system with three filling stations.

“With the increased interest for Nadura products that we have seen, especially after MeisterWerke’s re-launch, our intention is to offer limited product series and volumes for market introduction by our licensees. We expected this increase of interest in Nadura products and therefore we started to plan this upgrade already in March last year. At the moment we are in discussions with several companies interested of launching their own product range on the market initially produced by Välinge”, says Mr Niclas Håkansson, CEO of Välinge Innovation.

The present full size production line in Viken was in spring 2012 extended with a separate powder backing station where a powder layer is scattered on the HDF core and stabilised.

The panel is then turned such that the stabilized backing layer is on the rear side and a sub layer and a top layer are scattered on the core surface, stabilized and pressed.

After 6 months of successful production off-line this section is now integrated into the line.

This upgrade will streamline and optimize the production of Nadura at Välinge allowing supply of products to our customers.
