V4 Woodflooring and its sister company Concreate has invested more than £600,000 in a new distribution warehouse and trade facility in Castle Donington.
The investment, which has created four jobs in the area and has the potential to create more opportunities for the local community within a few months, will enable the company to better service its Midlands and North of England customers, particularly Birmingham and Manchester where it is hoped the next phase of expansion will take place with further regional hubs.
Chris Vincent, Managing Director of v4 Woodflooring, was joined by many invited guests, which included Shaun Ambrose-Jones, Chairman of Castle Donington Parish Council, for the official launch of the site, which is located at Unit B3 at Langham Park.
Founded in 2002, family run V4 Woodflooring is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of high quality and responsibly sourced hard wood flooring.
V4 Woodflooring branched out to produce and distribute Concreate, the first flooring product of its kind to be brought to the market.
Concreate is an innovative and luxury flooring product that was inspired by a material used to create much of the Olympic village in Beijing. Concreate is a decorative engineered panel which creates an environmentally-friendly, cost-effective and aesthetically pleasing alternative to a poured, polished concrete floor or wall panels.
Chris Vincent, Managing Director of V4 Woodflooring, said: “The Castle Donington facility will enable the company to better serve our trade customers in the Midlands and the North. It is an ideal location, with great transport links, and will complement our base in the South.
“The business is growing year on year and has ambitious plans for the future, and we hope that the Castle Donington site will grow as V4 and Concreate expand.”
