Summary of the contract
Term Contract for Cyclical Painting and Associated Works in L&Q’s South
East and Thames Regional Hub.
London & Quadrant (L&Q) Group is one of the largest providers of
affordable housing in the UK, managing over 70 000 homes in London and the
South East of England.
L&Q Group seeks interest from suitably qualified and experienced
contractors in order to select 1 Nr contractor to enter into contract to
deliver the programme of Cyclical Painting and Associated Works in the
South East and Thames regional hub.
The work will include but not be limited to the following:
Cyclical Decorations — both to external and internal communal areas.
Redecoration of ‘Fair Rent’ residents’ homes.
Ad-hoc repairs to windows and doors.
Ad-hoc repairs and replacement of internal flooring.
Ad-hoc external pointing and brickwork/concrete/render repairs.
The successful contractor will enter into a Partnering Contract with L&Q
based on the ACA Standard Form of Contract for Term Partnering TPC 2005
with various amendments. In addition, the successful contractor will join
a Strategic Alliancing Agreement with three contractors currently
delivering similar works in other Hubs.

L&Q Group wish to appoint 1 Nr contractor to deliver the Cyclical
Decorations Programme and Associated works to their South East and Thames
stock of approximately 23 000 homes in 13 000 properties. The estimated
value is between 1 500 000 GBP and 2 500 000 GBP per annum.

of 4 years with an option to extend (at the Contracting Authority’s
discretion)for a further 6 years on an annually renewable basis. The
duration of the contract will be dependent on measured performance in a
