Summary of the contract
Midland Heart – DPS for Social and Affordable Housing Maintenance
Services.
Midland Heart intends to establish the members of a Dynamic Purchasing
System for Social and Affordable Housing Maintenance Services in support
of its maintenance programmes over the next four years. Spend with
suppliers over that period is expected to be in the order of GBP
5,000,000.
The DPS sets the terms and conditions under which services contracts will
be awarded over the next four years.
Midland Heart is inviting organisations with appropriate experience to
apply to become a member under its DPS.
As and when required, Midland Heart will issue a requirement (for a given
scope of service requirement) to all qualifying organisations who are then
members of the DPS.
Subject to an organisation retaining appropriate qualifications and
accreditations, and other delivery criteria, contracts will be awarded on
the basis of price.

— Domestic Roofing Repairs;
— Scaffolding Services;
— Domestic Electrical Repairs;
— Electrical Inspections;
— Flooring Works;
— Masonry and Brickwork;
— Major Refurbishments;
— Minor Domestic General Repairs.
