Stockport community benefits from new UltraFloor installation
UltraFloor’s Level IT Super30 rapid setting and drying smoothing underlayment has been used on a church extension in Romiley, Stockport.
The contractor was G J Flooring Specialists Ltd. who carried out the work at St. Christopher’s Church on Barrack Hill. A three day window was available for the work to be completed, two days of which were required for the fitting of the engineered oak flooring, leaving only the one for all the subfloor preparation.
Level IT Super30 is UltraFloor’s high specification, two-part smoothing underlayment that sets to walk on in as little as 30 minutes, whilst enabling floor coverings to be laid after only 3 hours. This makes it ideal for use on projects where it is necessary to carry out the installation in a short time frame, including quick turnaround building extensions and refurbishment contracts.
The concrete substrate area totalled 130m² and the contractor’s team applied Level IT Super30 at a 3mm depth, providing a smooth, sound finish for the chosen floor to be laid onto. Proprietor, Greg Jones commented that Level IT Super30 is “…fit for purpose…” and contributed to an “…excellent finish and happy client.”
Level IT Super30 can be applied between thickness of 2-15mm and its protein free formulation means it is ideal for use in biologically sensitive areas. It can be used on a variety of subfloors, overlaid with most floor coverings, and is also suitable for use where warm water underfloor heating is incorporated.
