A remarkable 22 % sales growth in 2011 – and continued growth in 2012 -FN Neuhofer
The family-founded company, FN Neuhofer Holz, headquartered in Zell am Moos in Austria, achieved a 22% increase in sales in the 2011 financial year, bringing revenue up to 43.4 million Euros.
This result was achieved through the company’s innovative strength, as well as three large contracts from last summer, which necessitated increasing capacity by an additional 20,000 m3 of storage space. The new storage facilities have enabled Logistics to expand again and be centralised in one place, where future capacity is planned to reach 100,000m3.
The first half of 2012 has also shown further revenue growth for FN Neuhofer Holz, compared to last year. New customers and increased demand amongst existing customers have been achieved through ongoing product innovation (Neuhofer boasts numerous patents, design patents and utility patents, and is ranked number 5 in Upper Austria (source: Chef Info magazine) based on the large number of patents filed).
“We have also expanded our sales team so that we can provide customers with the best possible service,” explains the Director, Franz Neuhofer junior. “We also support our partners when they take part in trade fairs, and we enjoy a strong presence ourselves by exhibiting at international fairs,” he adds.
Last but not least, the fact that the company was recently voted “Best Home Improvement Supplier” by a D.I.Y. chain.
Standing still and resting on their laurels is something unheard of for this family-run company. Further investment is planned for this year, including improvement of production processes and automation, as well as an expansion of the production capacity.
FN Neuhofer Holz operates in 90 countries, with approx. 240 employees producing some 125 million metres of profiles per year, 87 % of which is destined for export.
One major trump card is digital printing, which is bound to play an increasingly important role in the future.
