Refresh to Interface’s most popular carpet ranges

Two of Interface’s bestselling products, Transformation and Elevation, are being updated to offer an even greater range of design possibilities in line with global colour and design trends.

Elevation III now has a larger range colour ways reflecting the latest trends with palettes to work with denim blue, linen, khaki greens, teals and stone greys. Transformation also has an updated range of colours, with a broad selection of greys, blues and neutral hues.

Elevation, which is inspired by minimalist industrial design, represented a significant advance in manufacturing when it was first launched in 2002 with its innovative Microtuft construction. Reducing the environmental impact through using 50% less yarn in production, the products also provide an easy-to-clean surface and improved acoustics compared to hard-floor surfaces.

Transformation, which was first launched to market in 2003, is designed for busy office and education environments. The nature-inspired range – one of the first to include random design – can be installed non-directionally, which reduces waste and allows greater design flexibility.

Karen Lambert, UK & Ireland Marketing Director, said: “We have updated our two most popular product collections in line with the latest colour and texture trends, reflecting the current popularity of weave constructions as a surface decoration as well as the trends in fabric patterns to incorporate blurred and broken lines.

“With palettes to calm, soothe and soften busy environments, the ranges are designed to provide both a practical and stylish flooring solution.”

In line with Interface’s Mission Zero pledge to eliminate any negative impact it has on the environment by 2020, both of the ranges contain just under 45% recycled content and received type III Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), which is based on an independent audit which measures the environmental impact of a product or service. Both the products have received high BRE ratings in the office category, with Elevation III rated A+ and Transformation rated A.
