Quick-Step helps to double their house

House and renovation expert Sarah Beeny’s latest TV Programme, ‘Double Your House for Half the Money’ featured Quick-Step’s Eligna laminate flooring.

Chosen by homeowners, the Ricketts, Quick-Step Eligna Oak Oiled Matt was used on the ground floor throughout a spacious extension that was built with the intention of providing the family with more space and increasing the value of their house.

Aired on Channel 4 during Tuesday 11th September evening primetime viewing, the programme aims to help consumers look towards ways of improving the value of their house in times of financial recession, without having the expense of moving home. With consumers looking to invest in their home, rather than face the expense of relocating

“Quick-Step floors are an ideal acquisition bringing style and ease of living to the home” said Philiep Caryn, International Communication & Sponsorship Quick-Step.

Participant of episode one of the series, Mark Ricketts, chose Eligna Oak Oiled Matt for use throughout the entire open plan living and kitchen space of the extension to his 1980s built detached home:

“We are delighted with how the extension and open plan living space has worked out and the floor looks fabulous. It helps to tie everything together and looks great with the contemporary style of our interior. As time has gone on, we’ve also found it tough – great for our young family and the dog – as well as really easy to clean and look after. It is a great floor for these types of busy family spaces,” said Mark Ricketts.

Quick-Step’s Eligna Old Oak Oiled Matt features a 25-year domestic use warranty and has no v-groove to give a modern feel to the floor. With a splash warranty and Scratchguard surface, Eligna Old Oak Oiled Matt is ideal for use in demanding areas such as kitchens and hallways, giving the floor great all-round daily performance.
