Preptec a new name in surface preparation
Preptec are a new name in the supply of surface preparation related products and services. The company was launched in late 2013 and provide a variety of services to many sectors including the flooring, refurbishment and construction industries.

Whilst Preptec may be a new name to many I personally have been involved the Surface Preparation Industry most of my working life. We offer both new and used equipment from leading manufacturers. Whatever our customers preference we are able to put together complete equipment packages to suit individual requirements and budgets. Many contractors are simply too busy running their own businesses and have valued our ability to make an unbiased proposal of what equipment would be suitable for their requirements. We have also found particular interest in good quality used equipment with many enquires received through the listings on our website.

Over the last couple of months we have seen growing interest in our specialist diamond tooling. Preptec provides a comprehensive range of sensibly priced conventional grinding and cutting products to compete with what is already in the market but one of the company’s main interests is providing new tooling solutions that give increased production rates and faster tool change options.
We have worked together with a number of customers who have seen the benefit of the Fastfit system and having now converted their grinding machines to the Preptec system are experiencing excellent results. With low overheads we are also able to offer competitive pricing for spares and consumables to fit a wide range of equipment. With close links to specialist rental companies throughout the UK we can arrange the rental of many types of surface preparation and related equipment either delivered to site , available for collection from our Lincoln based premises or from partners locations throughout the UK.
Customers have appreciated our honest and helpful approach resulting in recent equipment rental to high profile locations such as RAF Brize Norton and Luton Airport. Preptec can also consult to provide onsite contracting services and equipment training through industry partners when required. As the economy continues to improve we are looking forward to providing a useful service to a growing and valued customer base.
