Kährs joins eclectic urban mix at Pho Grand Central

Kährs Oak Sparuto has been specified at Pho Grand Central – a new Vietnamese street food eatery at Birmingham Grand Central.  Pho occupies a prime site within the new premier shopping destination, located above the city’s newly renovated New Street Station.  Kährs design-treated wood floor complements Pho’s raw, urban design and eclectic mix of materials – from steel to bamboo.  All flooring was installed by Blackpool-based Shopfitters and Building Contractors, Thompsons.

Pho is a family-run business which was launched in 2005, in London, by husband and wife team Stephen and Juliette Wall, after they travelled to Vietnam and fell in love with the food.  It specialises in pho, the Vietnamese national dish, as well as other authentic street food, coffees, beers, cocktails and fresh juices.  There are now 19 restaurants within the group, including Birmingham Grand Central.

Part of Kährs Da Capo Collection, Oak Sparuto joins Kährs dark toned colour spectrum and features a tactile brushed and handscraped finish, which gives an aged, gnarly look.  The lively timber is smoked and oiled to deepen its tone and each board is beveled to accentuate the one-strip plank format.
