IVC Group puts residential flooring under the environmental spotlight

The IVC Group has announced that it is seeking BRE approval for the Quartz Pro collection from its leading residential Leoline brand.
Featuring the same specification as the BRE rated Planet collection from sister brand Itec Contract Floors, Quartz Pro provides private and commercial environments with a high performance, durable and attractive floor and one for which BRE approval is a natural progression.
“The Quartz Pro vinyl flooring collection is ideal for both residential and commercial environments, including locations such as care homes, schools, local surgeries, dental practices and more as it provides a durable, attractive, R10 rated slip resistant and low maintenance floor,” comments Filip De Mulder, quality safety & environmental manager. “With this in mind, we have decided that seeking BRE approval for the Quartz Pro collection will help us to ensure that we deliver these locations a tangible, proven and recognised environmental certification that enhances the practical benefits of the floor covering.”
Internationally recognised as the developer of sustainability standards, codes and methodologies for buildings, homes and communities, BRE offers a range of cradle to grave sustainability services. IVC Group seeks approval for its Quartz Pro collection under BRE’s Environmental Profiles certification scheme that provides on-going and independent third-party assessment of the collection’s environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle.
