Flooring Assessments are extending their offer of a free tool kit to every apprentice signed up before the 1st July 2015.
To celebrate opening their new training centre in Doncaster, Flooring Assessments will be donating tool kits worth over £250 to every apprentice signed up before July 2015.
Flooring Assessments trainer Daniel Fairhurst says: “We want to give our apprentices the best start possible in their floor laying careers and this will really help them from the off. I can remember being an apprentice myself trying to save money for my own tool kit, it wasn’t easy, but getting those tools meant I could practice my new skills by doing small jobs for friends and family.”
The apprenticeship will run over 18 months and is fully funded for apprentices aged in between 16-18 with a grant of £1500 available for employers. Apprentices will receive training on preparing sub-floors, installing carpets, commercial & domestic vinyl, luxury vinyl tiles and wood flooring leading to a NVQ Level 2.
Flooring Assessments can also deliver an NVQ Level 2 in floor coverings through on-site assessment training for experienced workers.
