The Quick-Step Academy for Excellence in Flooring has partnered with the National Institute of Carpet and Floorlayers (NICF) to offer all Master Installers a year’s free membership to the industry-wide body.
Formed in 1979, the NICF is active in promoting the flooring industry and is recognised by many end users as a reputable source of highly experienced and professional flooring installers. Quick-Step Master Installers can now benefit from the advantages of NICF membership and will be listed on the NICF website as well as this additional accreditation also being recognised on the Quick-Step website. The partnership helps to strengthen the rising status of Quick-Step Master Installers as among the most professional in the entire flooring industry.
“We are delighted to welcome Master Installers to the NICF family,” comments Ian James, president, NICF. “We have been watching closely the progress made by Quick-Step Academy and believe it to be a benchmark of professionalism and training, sharing much in common with our own efforts here at the NICF. We are confident that Master Installers will be a positive addition to our activities here at the NICF and look forward to their contributions.”
The NICF will bring Quick-Step Master Installers a dedicated technical advice line, a business support helpline in conjunction with Croner Consulting, the use of the widely recognised NICF logo and regular newsletters, as well as discounts on FITA training courses.
“Being a part of the NICF is another great benefit on offer to our Master Installers,” enthuses Darren Robinson, training and development manager, Quick-Step Academy. “The industry body is well recognised by both residential and commercial end users and just helps to reaffirm that by choosing a Master Installer, they are selecting from among the best the flooring industry has to offer.”
