FN Neuhofer new digiprint – Flooring Profiles to match any decor

At FN Neuhofer Holz, Industry 4.0 is given a high profile and has been implemented step by step in almost all areas.

In order to further expand its technological lead, the company has invested in a new, cutting-edge digital printing machine.

This system convinces by its variety of innovative functions and thus substantially contributes to increasing the process efficiency.

Benefits of the new digital printing machine:

• Print width up to 330 mm
• Excellent print resolution up to 1260 dpi (high definition print)
• Stone designs and one-colour decors corresponding to pantone colours can be printed
• Colours: 4 standard colours (CMYK)
• Ample print head assembly provides for a reliably high print quality
• Many different materials are printable: paper, PP film, PE film, PVC film, PET film,
  BOPP film, aluminium film
• A variety of possibilities for final coat: matt or high-gloss
• Very quick sampling of films compared to gravure printing

The digital printing machine that has been in service since 2010 is additionally adapted to the latest state of the art. The total capacity is thus quadrupled!

Perfect results

The results are flawless. With the same print and via different surface coatings, decor paper for a wide range of applications can be produced, such as skirting boards, floor profiles, corner sticks, doorframe strips. And all this perfectly matching the decor of the floor.

Digitally printed boards

Printed three-layer boards or MDF boards with different surface treatments, e.g. brushed, chopped, or plainly sanded, are an innovation in the FN portfolio.

Each surface brings out the printed images and designs very individually and strongly.

In this way, it is possible to use these boards with e.g. a matured timber look for interior decoration or furniture, or to simply print a beautiful picture as a wall decoration.

The cut surfaces of the panel can be covered using the veneer edge that is designed to match the decor.

Further investment

In addition to the acquisition of the digital printing machine, the company also invested in a new patterning room: the “FN Digiprint Competence Center”.

This room is provided with optimum lighting conditions in order to even further perfect the results when patterning the designs and to ensure the best possible customer service.
