Floorstore goes through rebrand and celebrates new store opening in Wakefield

Floorstore is one of Yorkshire’s largest flooring companies and it has recently gone through a fresh rebrand and has just opened a new store in the centre of Wakefield, creating just under ten jobs in the process.

It comes after a successful 2016 in which the company, based in Leeds and Wakefield, grew beyond the capacity of its old showroom.

Floorstore is widely recognised as a market leader in the flooring industry, selling a range of flooring materials for the home and will be looking to further expand its range well into 2018.

The new Wakefield store is a 14,000 square foot showroom, split across two levels. Displaying the growing range of Floorstore and Best at Flooring products, the new store gives customers the best choice for purchasing floor and bedding products.

With 10,000 square feet devoted to flooring, the other space will display a huge selection of beds and accessories.

Steve Walker, Director of Floorstore, says:

‘‘Over the last year, we’ve developed a great relationship with the local community and therefore wanted to invest in a more permanent premises moving forward.

“The relocation has enabled us to already secure a further 3 new positions within the store which we are looking to expand further in the near future.’’

The address for the new Floorstore is Unit 3, Beck Retail Park, Ings Road, Wakefield, WF1 1RN – T: 01924 362 642
