Bostik launch flexible self-levelling compound

Global adhesives specialist Bostik has launched Screedmaster Flex – a flexible and rapid setting self-levelling compound that is specifically designed to save flooring contractors valuable time and money.

Ideal for smoothing and levelling wooden floorboards, flooring grade plywood, P5 chipboard and mastic asphalt screeds, Screedmaster Flex can be laid over most common substrates and is also suitable for use with underfloor heating installations (provided a maximum surface temperature of 27oC is not exceeded) and under parquet and wood floors.

Katharine Egerton from Bostik, commented: “Screedmaster Flex is an extremely versatile, flexible and rapid setting self levelling compound that is reinforced with glass fibre for maximum performance. Its flexibility makes it ideal for application including concrete, sand/cement screeds, stone, rigid metal and terrazzo and quarry tiles, along with asphalt and other strong subfloors.”

Screedmaster Flex can be applied between 3-30mm thickness in a single application and its low odour formulation makes it ideal for use in occupied buildings.

“The new flooring preparation solution comes in our new packaging design, which has been implemented across the complete range of Bostik products to create more on-shelf standout at point of purchase,” continued Katharine. “Featuring Bostik’s new gecko branding and Smart Adhesives strapline, the new packaging has been developed to help our merchant customers drive sales, whilst also further improving brand recognition with our contractor customers by giving our solutions a fresh new look.”

Screedmaster Flex is available in 25kg bags and covers approx. 5.2m2 per 3mm layer. For more information visit www.bostik.co.uk or call 01785 272625.
