ALTRO’S LATEST SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PUBLISHED
Altro has published its latest sustainability report, providing a comprehensive overview of the
company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable practices, with an increased focus on
transparency and accountability.
‘Building better futures’ contains detailed information on Altro’s environmental impact and
efforts to reduce carbon emissions; initiatives and programs that promote social
responsibility within its communities; innovations in sustainable product development and
supply chain management; as well as key performance metrics and benchmarks that track
the company’s sustainability goals.
Richard Kahn, Altro’s CEO says: “Altro’s commitment to innovation drives sustainable
progress, transforming our products and processes to set new standards for environmental
responsibility. Our holistic approach ensures that we are making a positive impact on the
planet while delivering high-quality solutions to our customers.
“This report shows the progress and impact we all can make when we focus our efforts on
the things that really matter, as well as the breadth and depth of the initiatives underway
across our global operations. For example, we’ve seen a phenomenal 90% reduction in
Scope 2 emissions, with our operations in the UK, Germany, Sweden and Australia all
contributing significantly. We are committed to transparency, providing detailed figures in
this report, fully aware of the work still to do as well as all that’s already achieved.
