Specialist flooring and interiors PR and Marketing agency Select First is celebrating in style after its clients scooped both top awards in the Best Flooring category at the House Beautiful awards 2012.
With a reputation for gaining great exposure for clients in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer media, Select First pulled out all the stops to secure both gold and silver in one category at the awards ceremony held in London’s Science Museum.
The annual event, organised by leading consumer magazine House Beautiful, recognises excellence and innovation in design. Comprising 26 hotly contested categories, the awards draw huge interest from leading brands in the interiors and home industry, all eager to have their newest launches acknowledged as the best in class.
Fighting off stiff competition from some of the industry’s biggest names, Quick-Step won gold for its elegant new range of extra wide laminate planks, with Avenue Floors coming in a close second to claim the silver for its colourful Bubblegum & Liquorice collection of cushion flooring.
“Having two of our clients win both possible awards in the flooring category is testament to our commitment to the flooring and wider interiors industries,” comments Myles Hazebroek, managing director, Select First. “It’s a great way for us to celebrate as 2012 draws to a close, and we have our eyes set firmly on more prizes at next year’s ceremony.”
The House Beautiful awards were held at London’s impressive Science Museum on the 8th November, and the judging panel consisted of a range of design experts and household names, including Sophie Conran, John Rocha, Mary Berry and Tommy Walsh.
