Make your mark with Quick-Step Academy

Quick-Step Academy underlined the importance of its courses at this year’s Flooring Show in Harrogate, while the government-endorsed scheme of which it is a member, Trustmark, revealed website search figures of over 25,000 for flooring installers since January 2012.

The only Government endorsed scheme of its kind in the UK, Trustmark covers everything from aerial installers through to tree surgeons, providing consumers with a source of high quality reliable and trustworthy tradespeople that are independently assessed and follow a strict code of practice. Quick-Step Master Installers can be registered with Trustmark, thanks to the Academy’s partnership with the scheme. And to show just how powerful this partnership is, some 3,700* searches a month for floor covering installers are undertaken on the Trustmark website.

“The Trustmark scheme is a great way for consumers to feel confident,” explains Quick-Step Academy training and development manager, Darren Robinson. “At the Flooring Show we underlined to visitors the Academy’s importance in building a future of qualified installers and a reputation for excellence, by investing in the young and making sure qualified installers are given real advantages in business.

“Being a part of the Trustmark scheme, being listed as a Master Installer and offering consumers a two year guarantee on workmanship, are three such advantages. Despite the scheme being just a few months old, Master Installers are already winning work and for most, the costs of the course have already been won back a few times over.”
The Master Installer scheme is just one offered by the Quick-Step Academy with a Foundation Level course, Wood Sanding & Finishing course and Apprenticeship scheme also running at the state-of-the-art facility in Manchester.
