Get Funky with Balta Broadloom

The Funky Stripes collection by Balta Broadloom gets a style injection with three bright new colour combinations, including a rather apt Union Jack inspired pattern sure to be a hit this summer.

A topical and bright design in red, white and blue, this carpet is vibrant, bold and features stripes of differing thickness for a textured and interesting look.

Tying in perfectly with The Queen’s upcoming Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the 2012 London Olympics, it is sure to tap into the mind-set of those consumers who are keen to support their country this year and is ideal for kids rooms and playrooms.

The other new colours include blue and green-based combinations that are just as vivid and exciting.

“The new additions to the Funky Stripes collection add even more colour to an already vibrant collection of designs,” explains Geert Vanden Bossche, Marketing Director, Balta Broadloom.

“These fresh new carpets provide consumers with more choice, and we wanted to inject even more fun and creativity into the range.

The inclusion of the red, white and blue combination offers retailers the chance to offer a product that is very now and that provides a great focal point that resonates with the current patriotic national conscience.”

The three new colourways replace three existing ones, so there is still a wide choice of 8 different options in the Funky Stripes collection.

Created from 100% Stainsafe® polypropylene for easy maintenance and peace of mind, Funky Stripes carpets are practical as well as stylish.

With a tufted 1/8” cutpile and 28 db of sound insulation, the carpets in the collection are available in 400cm width and are bleach resistant for ultimate durability.

An established collection of carpets in vertical stripes, the brand new additions to Funky Stripes are sure to be a hit with consumers who value both style and functionality.
